Compared to traditional chalk boards, our custom magnetic boards are easier to read, clean, and maintain.

Custom Printed Boards by Murerase

Murerase marker boards are uniquely printed with a heat transfer process that embeds the image into the dry erase surface. The lines, text or graphics are permanent and will not peel, fade or be affected by erasers or cleaners. These custom printed whiteboards are especially useful for hard use such as in hospitals and schools. Planning and scheduling boards for business will last for years.

Conversion Skins for Blackboards and Chalkboards:

We supply Murerase in magnetic and non-magnetic sheets or skins. These skins can be custom fabricated to fit existing chalkboards. The skins convert a chalkboard to dry erase at less than half the price of a new board. The same guarantee against ghosting applies, and the skins can be imaged as well.

We would be happy to provide you with expert sales advice on many options so please contact us for all of your custom magnetic boards.

How to Clean a Dry Erase Board

Filed under: Dry Erase Boards — admin @ 4:01 am

Cleaning a dry erase board is sometimes more trouble than it’s worth. It doesn’t matter if it is a portable dry erase board, mobile dry erase board, magnetic dry erase board or a done over chalkboard…

There are times when it’s virtually impossible to remove the markings from a marker board. I am going to show you how to remove any stair or leftover markings with simple house hold products. We will start off with the most common items to use and, if needed, get into the real heavy duty cleaners.

Things you will need for a basic cleaning:

  • -Rubbing Alcohol
  • -Baking Soda
  • -Water Bottle
  • -Paper Towels

You simply take 1/2 cup of water and add 1/2 cup of rubbing alcohol to your water bottle. Now gently spray (while covering the whole surface) and let it sit for a few seconds. Now just gently wipe off the remains and you should have a fresh looking dry erase board!

If for some reason this didn’t work, lets try something else!

Go grab a little baking soda and apply it to a damp paper towel or cloth rag. In circular motions, rub the baking soda over the surface of the dry erase board. Take your water bottle from before and spray it on top then, using a clean rag or towel, wipe it clean.

Oh, you have a dry erase board that has ink, which refuses to come off? Ok no problem… watch this! This usually happens with old magnetic dry erase boards and sometimes the black mobile dry erase boards.

Head into your bathroom and grab either hair gel or hand gel. (No I am not kidding) Any type will suffice. Grab one of your rags from before and apply a sufficient amount to it. Grab hold of that cloth and start rubbing. See what happened? All clean!

If you doubt any of these methods… here is a video for some proof!

Dry Erase Board Paint – Write on Walls Anytime!

Filed under: Dry Erase Boards — admin @ 12:02 am

It is now ok to let your kids write on the walls as much as they like! It’s ok, really!  With dry erase paint you can literally have all walls (and ceiling) converted into a dry erase writing surface!

Applying dry erase paint to any flat surface is the same as applying paint.  You simply roll on the product with the area(s) you wish to have a writing surface and that’s it! Check out the video and see how easy it really easy.  Not only is this easy, it’s very cool too.

It is a clear and almost order-free application.  If you can paint a wall, door, etc… Then this is just as easy.  Think about the endless possibilities when converting a wall into a writing surface.  Those ideas will never get lost. Just write them on the wall!  Are kids scribbling on the walls? No problem! Have a great idea for a recipe? Write in on the wall behind the oven!  You get the idea.

What is a Portable Dry Erase Board?

Filed under: Dry Erase Boards — admin @ 12:04 am

A portable dry erase board is ideal when you may not contain the wall space for a wall mounted dry erase board.  Most are reversible, meaning that both sides contain dry erase writing surfaces.

Most portable marker board are created of a long-term satin brushed aluminum frames that will stand out anywhere. Furthermore many contain a lock or latch which secures the board in place so it doesn’t move until you want it to.  This goes for a lock in place for the board itself as will as the casters with foot brakes.
